Why is Responsible Gambling important?
We take Responsible Gambling very seriously and you'll enjoy your play more if you stay in control of your gambling, therefore, it's very important to remember that you must only bet what you can afford and always set yourself sensible limits.
What can I do to stay in control?
Account Deposit Limits - If you would like to set a daily, weekly or monthly limit you can do this by setting a Deposit Limit. You can set a limit during the account registration process or anytime via the My Account > Play Responsibly section or by clicking here.
Account Closure - If you want to close your account, we have several closure options available to you, depending on your closure reason. For more information, please speak to our Customer Support Team and they will guide you through this process.
Account Cool Off - You can take a break from the site for any period between 24 hours and 6 weeks during which time you cannot login to your account. This closure is tailored and managed by our members only and can be applied via the My Account > Play Responsibly section or by clicking here.
Account Self Exclusion - If you wish to take an extended break from your gambling, you may request to self exclude. You can Self Exclude and close your account for a set period (minimum period of 6 months up to 5 years) during which time it will not be possible for you to re-open or access your account. To request this, please get in touch with our Customer Support Team. Alternatively, you can apply a Self Exclusion online here.
Session Reminders - You can set a reminder to tell you how long you have been logged in. This will pop up within a game every 30 or 60 minutes to remind you to take a break. You can set the times for these here.
What can you do to help me?
Keep track of your spend - To view a recent history of your deposit and withdrawal transactions, please go to My Account > History > Transaction History, or click here.
Talk to Professionally Trained Staff - all our Customer Support staff are trained to be aware of gambling harm and are available to provide free help and support 24 hours a day, 365 days a year. You can find our contact information here.
Time Spent Playing Reminder - We want all our members to enjoy their time spent playing on-site and to do this we have introduced a new 'reality check' feature. Every 3 hours from when you log in, you will see a message pop up to remind you of how long you have been playing on-site. This pop up will give you the option to continue playing, log out to take a break or there is a link to view the History section to check your gameplay. This is different from a Session Reminder as it cannot be turned off unless a selection is made. The 3-hour timer will then reset if you continue playing, or it will start again from when you next log back in.
Know Your Limits
We always want our members to enjoy playing their favourite games and gamble responsibly. However, for some gambling can become a problem. Please read the information below. It is very important especially if you are recovering from any kind of dependency.
- Always establish limits for depositing, wagering and losses before you start playing.
- Decide beforehand on a time limit for your playing session and stick to it. Within that period ensure that you take regular breaks from playing.
- Never gamble if it interferes with your daily responsibilities.
- Never gamble if you are in recovery for any dependency or are under the influence of alcohol or any other substance.
- Never gamble if your primary aim is to recover losses.
Self Assessment Questions
Answering the questions below will help you assess the level of your play;
- Do you stay away from work to gamble?
- Do you gamble to escape from a boring or unhappy life?
- When you're gambling, and you run out of money, do you feel lost or empty and in despair, and need to gamble again as soon as possible?
- Do you gamble until your last penny is gone, even the bus fare home or the price of a cup of tea?
- Have you ever lied to cover up the amount of money or time you spend gambling?
- Have others ever criticized or made comments about your gambling?
- Have you lied, stolen or borrowed just to get money to gamble or pay gambling debts?
- Are you reluctant to spend 'gambling money' on anything else?
- Have you lost interest in your family, friends or interests?
- After losing, do you feel you must try and win back your losses as soon as possible?
- Do arguments, frustrations or disappointments make you want to gamble?
- Do you feel depressed or even suicidal because of your gambling?
The more you answer 'yes' to these questions, the more likely you are to have a serious gambling problem. At this point, we recommend that you contact our Customer Support Team or one of the self-help organisations below.
