How do Bingo Jackpots work?
For those not familiar with bingo, a traditional bingo jackpot has a “condition to win”, which is a set number of balls called within any one game. Players have to win the full house within this number of balls in order to win the jackpot.
Example: for a ball condition of 40, players have to complete a full house on the 40th ball call or before it, in order to win the jackpot. If you win after the 40th ball, you just win the ‘full house’ prize.
You can have a fixed jackpot amount, or a progressive jackpot where the jackpot for a game incrementally increases each time a game is played, until the jackpot is won. In progressive jackpots, a contribution from the player’s ticket price goes towards the jackpot value, and the jackpot amount increases until it is won.
