What is happening to the chat rooms?
From 22:00 on 30th April, our chat rooms will be closing their virtual doors, and the chat feature will no longer be available across our games.
Why are they being removed?
We are dedicated to enhancing your experience with us and this decision was not taken lightly. After careful consideration, this decision was made to ensure that we can focus on improving the service we offer to all players.
Is it going to be replaced by something else in the future?
At the moment, there are no plans to introduce a new chat feature – but rest assured, we’re always exploring fresh ideas to enhance your experience.
Will Chat promotions be replaced?
We are always looking for new and exciting ways to improve your experience, so make sure to keep an eye out on the Promotions tab for new offers.
How will this affect Session Bingo?
Whilst the chat rooms will no longer be available, the Session Bingo games will not be impacted and will proceed unaffected.
Will this affect chat in Live Casino games hosted by Evolution?
The chat function in games hosted by Evolution will not be impacted by these changes.
How can I stay in touch with friends I made in chat?
We understand that many of you will have made friends in chat over the years and would like to keep in touch. For your security, please do not share your personal details in our chat rooms.
I’m unhappy with chat being removed, how can I provide feedback?
We truly understand that closing our chat rooms is disappointing news, and we want you to know how much we value the community we've built together. Although the rooms are closing, we are still here for you! If you need any help with your games or gameplay, our Customer Support team is always ready to assist.
How can I access my personal data from the closed chatrooms?
We still need to comply with certain legal obligations as a licensed gambling operator and this means we keep a copy of all your information for a period up to 7 years. When we no longer need to retain a copy of your information for legal process, we then follow internal policies to delete your information.
