How do I withdraw when my card details have expired?
In most cases, you can still withdraw funds back to the card you last used to deposit — even if that card has since been replaced.
If the card registered to your account has expired but the linked bank account is still open, your bank will usually still accept the withdrawal. This is because most banks can route funds back to an active account, even when the card itself is no longer valid.
If your bank is unable to accept the funds, or it has been too long since the card expired, the withdrawal may fail. If this happens, the funds will be returned to your account balance with us.
You can then return to the Withdrawal section, where you’ll be given the option to withdraw directly to your bank account instead.
If you haven’t withdrawn to a bank account before, you’ll be asked to enter your sort code and bank account number.
If you’ve made a bank withdrawal in the past, your saved bank details will be shown automatically. Please double‑check that these details are correct before confirming your withdrawal. You can update them at any time using the Update Bank Details option in the Withdrawal section.
